•   Abolishes secret ballot elections and replaces them with signature cards.
Union organizers could go back to any worker who declines to sign over and over again  - even at home.
A union would have no obligation to tell an employer it is launching an organization drive.

The Employee Free Choice Act, or Card Check, is a one-sided bill that ignores organized labor’s 75-year track record of intimidation and coercion in the context of organizing campaigns.

The Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) is the most transformative piece of labor legislation to come before Congress since the enactment of the National Labor Relations Act of 1935 (NLRA).

The current version of the proposed legislation known as the Employee Free Choice Act makes a number of significant changes to existing law:

•    Secret Ballot Elections
•  Initial Collective Bargaining Agreements
•  Increased Employer Penalties

Organized labor’s density in the private sector has plummeted below 8% – an all time low. To address this problem, unions are increasingly turning to an aggressive legislative agenda designed to tilt the scales in their favor.
