Floridians for Responsible Policy (FFRP) is a research and advocacy organization committed to educating the citizens of our state about the impact and/or opportunity of important public policy issues. In particular, FFRP focuses on issues that while extremely significant, have not garnered the appropriate level of public attention or debate. In an open and civil manner, FFRP will seek to facilitate education and outreach to elected officials, opinion leaders and other community stakeholders to elevate these issues in the public discourse. FFRP is not a political organization nor are we involved in electioneering. FFRP is an advocacy organization dedicated to ensuring that Floridians have their interests protected and they have an opportunity to voice their concerns to their elected leaders and community representatives.

The Coalition for a Democratic Workplace is a coalition of workers, employers, associations and organizations who are fighting to protect the right to a federally supervised private ballot when workers are deciding whether or not to join a union. The Coalition is opposed to the so-called Employee Free Choice Act because it would strip Americans of that right and replace it with a system where your vote is no longer private, and it is made public to your employer, the union organizers and your co-workers.

Union officials have abused the trust of their members. They've misspent member dues and harmed the very same people they promise to protect. In 2005 alone, federal racketeering investigations resulted in 196 convictions against union officials and employees and $187 million in fines. Union tactics -- including deception and intimidation during organizing campaigns, strikes that hurt members more than they help, spending mandatory union dues on radical political agendas, and the use of anti-democratic voting practices -- are long overdue for exposure.

The Center for Union Facts has gathered a wealth of information about the size, scope, political activities, and criminal activity of the labor movement in the United States of America.
